Actress Nithya Menen’s Films Ban In Malayalam
Malabar star Nithya Menen is not relieved from the wrath of the Producers of Malayalam cinema as the Kerala Film
Producers’ Association (KFPA) has written a letter to the Kerala Film Distributors’ Association (KFDA) not to exhibit her new films ‘Usthad Hotel’ and ‘Bachelor Party’ those were signed by the actress during the ban on her and made by producers defying the decision of KFPA.
The KFDA secretary has said, “We have not planning any ban on the films on our own but it is the decision of KFPA, which requested us not to exhibit her films.
The KFPA has demanded an apology from the actress for her behavior and insulting a producer a few months back. “It is a simple apology all that we want from the actress,” says Kalliyoor Sasi, the President of KFPA.
But, Nithya is adamant that she would not tender any apology to anyone as she sticks to her stand that she never intended to insult the producer and it was a natural behavior what happened that day.
A few months ago when the actress was in a shoot for the film ‘Thalsamayam Oru Pennkutty’, producer Anton Joseph came to the sets to sign Nithya in his new movie but the actress sent her manager to the waiting producer to inform that she could not meet him in the sets and would discuss the film on another time. This has incurred the wrath of the producers of Kerala and they imposed a ban on the actress till she tendered an apology.
