Rajini And Kamal Act Together In 'Marudhanayagam'

Industry was abuzz with high reports that the stalwarts of Tamil cinema Rajini and Kamal were coming together for ‘Marudhanayagam’, a film that was shelved and now revived by Kamal after 15 years of its start.

But, latest reports have confirmed that the big news that was surrounding the industry was just a rumour and not totally baseless.

The PRO of Kamal Hassan has also written in the micro-blogging site that the news was just a rumour and Kamal was not reviving ‘Marudhanayagam’ now. “The news about Rajini starring in Marudhanayagam is false,its an 15 year old news..Kamal sir hasn't spoken anything about this recently…” writes the PRO.

The legendary actor is completing his magnum opus ‘Vishwaroopam’ soon and will start ‘Thalaivan Irukindran’ with director Shankar and the film is produced by Aaskar Ravichandran.

‘Vishwaroopam’ has Kamal, Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea and Sekhar Kapur in pivotal roles. Kamal, apart from acting, is also writing, directing and producing the film.
