Vikram, who is currently shooting for 'Thaandavam' and 'Karikalan', is on the verge of signing a new project, if one has to go by what sources say. The actor is apparently impressed with a script narrated to him by one of the former assistants of Mani Ratnam.

"Whenever a script is narrated to Vikram, he would see what his character in it could offer to him, in terms of scope to perform. On that front, he is thoroughly impressed with the storyline by Mani's associate," sources said.

Meanwhile, there is a buzz that Vikram would be roped in by a popular television channel to host a game show, which would offer winners Rs one crore. However, the actor and circles close to him are tightlipped about it.

When we probed, they said, "Vikram at present has two Tamil films and a Hindi movie in his hand. So he finds it difficult to allot dates for the television show. But talks are on and a final decision is yet to be taken."

Vijay and Ajith share a media built rivalry on big screen and it looks like Suriya Sivakumar and Vikram will now compete with one another in the small screen!

It's no longer news that Suriya will be hosting 'Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi', the Tamil version of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' for Vijay TV. Making best of the break Tamil film stars have gotten thanks to the ongoing tussle between FEFSI and producers, Suriya is currently preparing himself for this much awaited game show which will kick start shortly.

It is now said that a rival private television channel is trying to rope in Chiyaan Vikram for hosting a game show! Say sources close to the actor, "It is true that he was approached for a game show and he has liked the concept, but he is busy with few projects and is trying his best to reschedule his dates."

Well, whatever it maybe, we can be assured that Suriya and Vikram, two stars known for their charisma and rapport will soon be debuting as hosts on small screen. The trend of top notch actors hosting shows is already a popular one in the north, it remains to be seen if it will work in the south as well.

Chiyaan Vikram seems to team up with Director Vijay once again for a new film in UTV productions.Now the latest news is that Vikram also wishing to act in one more film in the direction of Suseenthiran.Currently Vikram is playing lead role in Suseenthiran directing Rajapattai.
