Vikram’s ‘Karikalan’ Movie Stopped!. Vikram’s period fantasy film ‘Karikalan’ was developing in a fast pace and when the team about to start its next schedule a big blow came on its face through a court order staying the team from further filming!

One K S Rajasekaran of Chennai had filed a case in a civil court in the city alleging that the producer and the director of ‘Karikalan’ has plagiarized his story and title ‘Karikalan’ and had prayed for an order in favour of him by giving compensation for it. The court has now stayed shooting the film till the case is settled and issued summons to the producer and the director, and to the surprise of everyone a summon is also been issued to the hero Vikram!

This has shocked the producer and now they are in return filing a defamation suit against Rajasekaran for spoiling the reputation of Vikram by adding his name also when he is not legally bound in the controversy. “We will settle the case soon as we started the film with the title only after verifying it in with the concerned offices like producers council and film chamber. We will start soon,” says the producer of the film S S Vasan.
