I’m A Selfish Actor, I Have Come To Cinema For Money Only - Ajith

In a recent interview to a Tamil magazine Ajith said that he cannot become a good politician as he was a selfish man and did not know politics.

“I respect the politicians who have risen from the grass-root level and serving the people genuinely. I cannot use my cinema popularity and just become a politician. I have come to cinema to earn money and not to do service to the people or convey messages to the audience. I’m just a selfish actor. I will never enter politics as I cannot become a good politician,” says the actor.

The actor also added that he wanted to do only one film in a year irrespective of the results of the films and said that his fans were always there in his heart and he in theirs even after the dissolution of his fan clubs!

The actor is currently doing his ‘Billa 2’ and after completing this he will start his next with director Vishnuvardhan, actress Nayanthara, Arya and producer A M Ratnam.
