Dhanush turns to be the lead actor of Suseenthiran's next movie which will be produced by Lingusamy. Earlier it was Arya on the cards for the lead role but seems to the role landed on Dhanush's laps.

Aarya walked out of the film quoting unknown resons and now Director Suseenthiran says Dhanush will be essaying main lead role in this untitled film.Dhanush has given for this film which is said to move on to the sets shortly.

Suseenthiran's film is a bilingual movie both in telugu and tamil.Tollywood Actor Ram might play lead role in telugu version of the film.Subhash Chandra Bose will be producing this film under Thirupathi Brothers banner.

Dhanush has recently signed with two business giants to get associated in the promotion of their products snatching it from Suriya, who had been the brand ambassador of those products till now.

Brand Emami’s product Navaratna Oil is being included as an in-song placement in the visuals of the ‘Kolaveri song’ that Aishwarya Dhanush shot for her debut film ‘3’ with Dhanush and Shruti Hassan featuring in it. A set was erected in the sands of Mahabalipuram, depicting the stalls of the Marina beach, and Dhanush and Shruti are walking in between the stalls in the song. The visuals show that people are buying the product from a stall and also some boards and banners are put showing the product.

Krishna Mohan, CEO of Emami says, “‘Kolaveri’ is a cool song and our Navaratna oil is for giving the ‘cool’ effect for your head. So, this is the right song for the product.” “Like ‘Kolaveri’ it is ‘Coolaveri’,” he laughs.

Suriya had been featuring in this ‘Thanda, thanda Coo, cool’ ad for the last couple of years.

Dhanush is also signing with a telecom giant to promote their product which had been endorsed by Suriya till now.

Dhanush is one of the most popular young actors in India. The National Award for Best Actor for the film ‘Aadukalam’ and the ‘Kolaveri’ song have made the actor pushing his limits beyond Tamil cinema and, now the actor is venturing into the Bollywood industry!

Yes, the talented actor has signed a Hindi film titled ‘Raanjhnaa’ that is directed by Aanand L Rai, who directed the Madhavan starrer Hindi hit ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. When quizzed about his Hindi venture Dhanush said, “‘Raanjhnaa’ is set in the backdrop of the holy town of Banaras and directed by Aanand Rai. We had been in talks even before the song ‘Kolaveri’ happened, and I accepted the role believing in the director’s strong script and his vision about the film. Though Hindi is a problem I think I can manage by learning it. Only thing is adopting to the culture. I will adjust to it”!

The director says that he selected Dhanush after watching the actor’s award winning performance in ‘Aadukalam’. “I wanted someone who looks vulnerable, ordinary and honest. Dhanush suited well for my character,” says Aanand. Other cast and crew of the film is being decided now.
